Welcome to the Lunar Client June recap! This month, the team has released many exciting updates, improvements, and exciting new features to elevate your Lunar Client experience. Among the highlights are large improvements to the Launcher, expanded options for modpack customization, and exciting new Skyblock Mod features. We also launched our new Galaxy Collection which is filled with many fresh cosmetics that you will love. June 2024 has been a busy month, with updates to hosted worlds, the new Lunar Client SMP, and upgrades to the Hypixel Skyblock mod. Launcher Updates
This month, the Lunar Client Launcher has had some updates to improve its functionality. We’ve revamped the modpack system by allowing you to customize Fabric modpacks. You can do this by going into the settings for any installed modpack and unlinking it from the Modrinth project. After that, you can personalize it to your liking by changing the icon and name, etc. You can find more about that here.
This customization includes changing the icon, description, and essentially everything else about your mod pack. To add your own mods, simply click the mods option in the menu and then select the folder icon. From there, drag and drop your favorite supported mods into the folder and launch your mod pack.
Currently, our modpacks support versions from 1.16 all the way to 1.21, which is impressive! In fact, we released support for version 1.21 on the same day it launched. This means that all our mods, cosmetics, and features were ready for you to explore just minutes after the new version was made available, thanks to our dedicated team of developers and testers.
Lunar Client SMP
In addition to launcher updates, we’re excited to introduce the Lunar Client SMP. This server lets you connect with fellow Lunar users in a classic vanilla-like experience. Enjoy fun events and compete for rewards, including free cosmetics! Our SMP has recently reset, so you won’t have to worry about falling behind.
To join, connect to lunarsmp.gg on version 1.21. If public SMPs aren’t your style and you prefer playing with friends, we’ve got you covered. You can now host your own worlds for friends to join, even if they aren’t using Lunar Client.
Hosted Worlds
The hosted worlds feature allows you to open any of your singleplayer worlds for your friends to join and play together. This update means you can invite friends who aren’t using Lunar Client to join in on the fun. Each world you host will have a special IP that players can add to their server list to join your open world.
Moreover, we’ve introduced a new privacy option, allowing you to control who can access your worlds. To get started, launch any version of Lunar Client, host your favorite world, and share the IP with your friends. Additionally, you can share screenshots of your hosted worlds through our new screenshot service.
By taking a screenshot and clicking upload, the image will be sent directly to our screenshot website at lunr.pics. You can then share these images effortlessly on platforms like Discord and Telegram, ensuring your friends can view them anytime.

Level Head Mod Improvements
Next up, we’ve made significant changes to the level head feature within the Hypixel mod. This enhancement makes the feature much more useful by allowing you to choose which level to display: the player's Network level, Bedwars star, or SkyWars level. These levels will be visible throughout the entire server, helping you gauge how skilled the players around you are in your favorite game modes.
Skyblock Mod Updates
Moving on, let's check out some new features that have been added to our Skyblock mod. We previously teased the introduction of secret waypoints for Hypixel Skyblock's dungeon area, and we're thrilled to announce that they are now available! These waypoints will help you navigate through the dungeons by showing you where all the secrets are located in each room.
Not only that, but you can customize which secrets you want to see and change the colors of the waypoints. Additionally, we’ve introduced alerts for the Kuudra boss fight, giving you on-screen notifications whenever significant events occur, such as when a dropship is incoming, or the Kuudra has been stunned.
You have the option to toggle these alerts on or off and adjust their size using our alert scale within the Skyblock mod. These improvements are designed to enhance your gameplay experience significantly.
Puzzle Solvers in Skyblock Mod
Our Skyblock mod will have a brand-new feature: puzzle solvers. This feature will guide you through dungeons by showing you the quickest way to solve all the puzzles. You’ll also have the option to toggle which puzzles you want it to affect, making it a highly customizable experience.
Galaxy Collection Showcase
Finally, we’re thrilled to present our new Galaxy Collection, which was released last month. This collection features a vast variety of cloaks, suits, hats, and over 20 different pets for you to mix and match as you please. It’s one of our most extensive collections yet!
