When it comes to making your Minecraft experience feel more like real-life, Lunar Client has that covered. In this article, we’ll be going over three mods that you can use to enhance your Minecraft experience, while adding a touch of realism into the game. We’ll also mention one special mod you can load into your client that’ll make the experience 10x better.

Item Physics Mod
Ever noticed how dropped items in Minecraft always have a ‘3D rotation’ animation, doesn’t look realistic, does it? Well, the Item Physics Mod on Lunar Client changes its animation to make dropping items super satisfying. When an item gets dropped, it creates a spinning rotation before it lies flat on the ground. You’ll be able to change the speed of its rotation to whatever you’d like.

Damage Tint Mod
Do you remember playing a game that displays a red vignette around your screen when you’re low on health? Well, Damage Tint Mod on Lunar Client adds that exact feature to the game, while giving players access to customize the color of the damage tint. Lunar Client’s Damage Tint Mod also provides players with a Play Heartbeat Sound option, giving players that sense of death when they’re low on health. You can change its volume so you can hear the heartbeat more clearly when in intense battles against other players or mobs.

Fog Customizer
Utilizing Minecraft’s Fog settings can be a tough spot to navigate, which is why with Lunar Client’s Fog Customizer Mod, you can manipulate the fog to behave differently, affecting the atmosphere and immersion. There are three settings you can choose from when changing Minecraft’s fog:
Water Fog Density
By changing the value of this setting, you’ll be able to edit how much fog is visible underwater. This means that if you wish to see everything more clearly underwater, setting your water fog density to the lowest value will reduce or remove the fog entirely. But if you’re someone who likes the addition of realistic graphics, increasing its density will make you feel like you’re entering the Bermuda Triangle in Minecraft.
Render Distance Fog
In simple terms, this setting changes the amount of fog that gets displayed, regardless of what your render distance is set to. By changing its value to the lowest, you’ll be surrounded by a thick layer of fog that can make it seem like you are blinded by its bad weather, even if it’s not raining. Doing this can also provide you with enhanced performance benefits since it reduces the amount of entity rendering it would need to perform. If you’re looking to add that realistic feel to the game, you can change its value to 1 or whatever feels comfortable for you. We recommend changing it to a value that prevents you from seeing the world generate its chunks.

3D Skins
Adding depth to your Minecraft skins has never been easier. With Lunar Client’s 3D Skins Mod, you can adjust the extrusion of each 2nd layer, allowing your in-game character to pop while you’re playing the game. You can turn on and off specific player models to better adjust what works for you.

Simple Voice Chat
While Lunar Client doesn’t have this Minecraft mod built into the client, you can add this mod yourself through our mod-loading system, or use the SVC for Lunar Client modpack, which can be found in the modpacks tab in the launcher. All you have to do is click Install Modpack, and it will automatically install the modpack for you in Lunar Client, without any extra steps needed.
